Boogie Boarding: Porth Oer Wind Direction: South West - off shore Wind Stength: 27mph Surf / Sea State: Clean 5/6ft faces Air Temperature: 8 Sea Temperature: Still Pretty Cold! Weather: Rain Max Speed: Distance Covered:
Visited Hells mouth first. It was Maxed out storm conditions with white
water as far as the eye could see, totally un-surfable!
Around the coast at Porth Oer was a different story.. there were about 15
other bodyboarders in the water which had beautiful clean waves with a
strong off shore, managed a few superb rides and then it finally
happened.......
.... THE TUBE!!
Whilst on a monster a gust of wind must have kept it up, and to my surprise
it lipped over my head.... and there I was in a tube!!! It didn't last very
long untill the wave decided it had, had enough and folded in front of me,
but I managed a graceful exit without getting pounded!
My first ever real tube ride after about a year of looking!
As such this has to be a 5 star session!
